Slowing down of the shed season

Well the shed hunting season is winding down for many people. Some people had a great year and some others didnt have such a good year. A fellow friend/shed hunter has gone over the 100 shed mark as of about 2 weeks ago now. I have not talked with him for awhile now. I personally leave for kansas at some time tommorow. I am really looking forward to this trip, since i have never gone to kansas before. It should be a good time! Ill let you know how we do.

Adam the "Big Buck Assasin" follower

One of my good friends and fellow shed hoarder is being honored this week as my best follower. Adam doesnt post much because he doesnt know how to type on a keyboard. But he always calls me and gives me an update on what he thinks of the blog to keep current. So this week i a m honoring him as the my best follower! Here is a picture of Adam and the nice buck he was able to harvest this year with his bow.

Big Sheds in Iowa

Well this weekend i attended the Iowa Deer Classic. I can say that it never seems to amaze me at the sheds/deer that come out of iowa every year, Especially southern Iowa. It just blew me away, the stuff that came in. I really enjoyed seeing all of the awesome sheds and hearing everyones story on how they found them. It was also fun to watch the shed contest over the course of the weekend, and see how the number 1 spots all got beat on the last day! On fellow in particular came into the show with a few absolutely amazing antlers for the contest and left with 1st place in every category. It seems like it has been forever since i have been able to get out shed hunting myself, due to work, school, and vacation. Hopefully this up coming week i will be able to find some time and get out looking. To all of you out shed hunting right now, best of luck and hopefully you find some good antler.
